Holistic worldview
In semester one of our Holos-Earth Program, 'Cultivating Holistic Worldview and Practice' we explored the nature of the holistic worldview - and especially the importance of a societal paradigm shift from ‘Logos’ to ‘Holos'.
Complex Human Adaptive Intelligence
In semester two we explored the notion of holistic practice and how to engage with a complex problem-space - we introduced the process of accessing ‘Complex Human Adaptive Intelligence’ and especially focused on the notion of reflexivity.
Multidimensionality of problem-spaces
Now in session three going forward, having examined how to identify and 'map' the multi-dimensionality of the problem-space, and how to create an enabling environment, we explore how to engage the field of possibilities. We’ll include an examination of the nature of consciousness.
Artificial intelligence versus collaborative reflexivity
Is Yuval Harari correct in speculating that problem-solving is becoming the preserve of artificial intelligence - that there's a divergence of problem-solving intelligence and consciousness? Is James Lovelock correct that we'll be governed by super-intelligent ‘Cyborgs' - or is there a deeper dimension of wisdom that can be accessed in the Holos paradigm?
Digital versus social connectivity
And most importantly - what are we losing in terms of collaborative reflexivity (accessing collective intelligence) in the digitally connected and socially disconnected world?
Does our increasingly dysfunctional social connectivity account for the Reverse Flynn effect as we abrogate shared human wisdom to technology?
