What is Web 3.0?
Web 3.0 is the last example of the development stages of the internet. It is the most advanced version of the internet that comes after Web 1.0 and Web 2.0. We can define Web 3.0 as an “artificial intelligence web.”
Web 3.0 uses an advanced blockchain-based system that structures and organizes any type of data so that both machines and humans can read.
To Clarify?
I will start with some discussion of how “the internet” works. Web 3.0 is the creation of the internet and the first steps in building a Metaverse. We see some developments in terms of the technological infrastructure that supports it. We are already building devices that bridge the gaps between the physical and digital worlds and have started building the infrastructure required for everything to be possible. For example, we have seen the development of physical devices that can embed sensors in 3D objects and connect them to the internet. We have the experimental Samsung “ThingLab” that has three different devices that can communicate with the internet, move around and interact with each other.
Understanding Web 3.0
Every physical activity or experience in the Metaverse would be connected to and include the artificial intelligence component.
Thus, digital and machine intelligence would coordinate all social interactions, the purchasing of goods, ordering of meals, access to anything we want, and sharing information.
This may sound like science fiction, but it is a present possibility in the future. I believe that it’s better to recognize the current reality rather than give in to the dream of a magical lot.
We need to prepare for the imminent arrival of Web 3.0.
The future is here!
What is the Metaverse?
In a nutshell, Metaverse is the digital world where anything we can imagine can exist. It is a universe where we can finally connect to fully immersive 3D environments by expanding our senses of sight, sound, and touch, blending digital elements with the physical world or whenever we want. You also may read the “So What is Metaverse” passage of our article here for more satisfying information.
Understanding Metaverse
Metaverse is not exactly what people usually think of when “virtual reality.” When thinking of virtual reality, most of us think about having a screen to look at while inside the virtual world. The difference between a fully immersive virtual world and a slightly augmented one (like Hololens or the Gear VR) is that the latter can’t integrate with our senses, i.e., a map or GPS. Still, instead, they rely on sensors on our hands or feet to know our locations in the real world. If you want to get the best out of the modern Metaverse, you will need to wear a lot of sensors to interact with the virtual world without having to look at a screen or get distracted by the current environment.
All metaverses must be visually rich.
Web 3.0 and Metaverse
Imagine, for example, an entire 3D city created in the real world, with simulated people running around in it, opening and closing doors, going in and out of virtual buildings, interacting with virtual objects, and having a whole digital world within the physical world, all of which is already being built around us as we speak.
What we have here is a combination of real-life and digital worlds.
In this case, Metaverse is a fully immersive virtual world within the real world, where the digital can exist. But Metaverse is also more than that, as the web allows us to transcend it in many ways. It could be combined with Web 2.0 technologies, Web 3.0, or even the other way around.
Web 3.0 is not just virtual worlds, and it is also data-enabled data.
What are the Benefits of Metaverse?
Metaverse is helping us learn and connect with others in entirely new ways.
We can now create entirely new forms of media that live inside our digital worlds.
We can have full access to our digital lives in the internet age, including photos, video, documents, and any other information we want.
Meta views can be a single state machine for any data structure. This makes Metaverse a powerful tool for companies to give users a personalized digital experience and provide new services.
In our mission to connect every one of our customers across the globe, Metaverse promises to be the preferred way to navigate and be connected to the digital world.
Web 3.0 Means a More Efficient Web
Web 3.0 is very convenient and allows users to interact with data by simply accessing the underlying cloud easily. This is due to the cloud system, which is made to assist in organizing the entire development process of these platforms.
It allows users to quickly understand the main framework of these platforms, compared to Web 1.0, where developers need to write entire apps to interact with a particular platform. Web 3.0 platforms make it possible for developers to write different types of apps such as games, messaging, and more interconnected in a straightforward way.
The App Store, Also Known as DApp Store
Web 3.0 will also consist of the app store. This app store will be similar to Google Play or Apple’s App Store and allow users to browse and search for new apps with ease. Applications that are implemented in Web3 must be built as decentralized systems. So that these apps are called DApps.
Less time wastage
As technology develops and our minds become more sensitive to virtual reality, we’re only using 5% of our brain’s potential. If we’re not using it in an immersive environment, where can we take advantage of it?
Simplicity
As human beings, we tend to make things complicated and complex. We want to see a detailed picture of what we’re doing and the best way to do it. But using simple methods like 3D headsets instead of expensive traditional cinema technologies, can have a tremendous impact on how we use them.
Versatile
We can use it to engage people and generate discussion on a mass scale or connect with another city or country, etc. The possibilities are endless.
What is Web 3.0 and What Does it Mean to You?
The role of Web 3.
How will this change the world?
Web 3.0 will radically alter our daily life, most notably in terms of art, entertainment, and design.
Artists, filmmakers, game designers, architects, and software developers will have access to an entirely new toolbox that will help them create and experience virtual worlds that will not be limited by the physical limitation of our physical world. Web 3.0 opens the doors to a new dimension in visual art.
How will this change the way we communicate?
Web 3.0 opens the door to a new level of human interaction between people and their digital avatars.
Everything that is being done with electronic communication technologies is already a part of Web 3.0, except for the last layer of interaction: direct interaction with a digital human in a virtual world.
User-friendly interface
As the name suggests, Metaverse is a user-friendly system structured and designed to provide easy access to diverse digital resources.
A user can enter a Metaverse instance, where they can interact with various devices, including a computer, a mobile phone, a television, etc., from any location in the Metaverse.
It does not matter where a user is when interacting with a device. However, the user has to go through the sign-in process if they want to access the device’s full capabilities or perform some tasks.
Conclusion
Throughout history, technological advancements have changed humanity and how we view the world. So, don’t stop believing that Web 3.0 is possible and that you can contribute to making this possible.
