Anthropic released an interesting study today. In their “Economic Index” report on AI's impact in the workplace, they highlight a few interesting trends on Claude AI usage by task, but also occupations. I'll link to the complete survey in the comments. Some takeaways: - AI is predominantly used in software development (37.2%) and creative/technical writing (10.3%) - AI adoption is highest in mid-to-high wage occupations - 57% of AI use is augmentation rather than automation - AI is enhancing human capabilities, not replacing them - Only 4% of jobs use AI for 75%+ of tasks, but 36% use it for at least 25% of tasks This aligns with what we're seeing pretty much everywhere with Agilytic: AI is becoming an invaluable tool for enhancing productivity, but it's most effective when combined with human expertise. The future isn't about replacement - it's about enhancement.
