Pulsar Fusion may be a new name in the space race, but they are one of the most famous companies now for getting funding from the United Kingdom Space Agency (UKSA) for its novel development. The company aims to develop an innovative nuclear-powered space engine, and it is the earliest to do so in the current space industry in the world.
The goal is to center on a powerful space engine that can bring humans from the Earth to the outside of the Solar System, one that would be achievable in people's lifetime.

The edge of the Solar System awaits, and Pulsar Fusion is one of the first companies aiming to reach it with its development of a nuclear-powered space engine to bring humans there. According to Satellite Evolution (via the company's press release), Pulsar was recently awarded funding regarding the development of this engine from the UK Space Agency.
The company will then use these funds to further its development of the space venture, centering on the clean power source which is also deemed as unstable.
Pulsar will receive help from the University of Cambridge and Southampton to deliver this technology, one that could further the space industry to greater lengths.
Pulsar Fusion's Nuclear-Powered Space Engine Capabilities
According to the release, Pulsar Fusion will harness the nuclear power for its space engines to bring "hyper speed" rockets to the world soon, one that could help save time in reaching the end of the Solar System in one lifetime. The goal is to bring hyper speed to its technology, centering on this massive development using a novel energy source to power it.
Novel Space Developments for Future Travels
Sending spacecraft to different parts of the universe or visiting other planets is not a new thing for humans nowadays, and different companies, researchers, or organizations already want to take it to the next level. SpaceX is one of the most prolific companies behind the space industry's next-level missions, one where it would take humans to Mars and build a colony.
The company wants to do this with its novel idea of a Stainless Steel spacecraft called the Starship, one that has the capabilities to endure lengthy travel.
However, what it uses are traditional rocket engines to bring it to orbit, and endure the trip to Mars after it detaches from its first-stage rocket, the Super Heavy Booster.
Other nations like the UK and China are already centering on nuclear-powered technology for space, with the latter designing a Moon base using this untapped potential to further its operations on the lunar surface.
Modern technology and the massive advancements in spaceflights have led to significant possibilities regarding interstellar travel, with Pulsar Fusion on its way to developing this nuclear-powered space engine. It can bring humans outside the Solar System in their lifetime, using its power to go to further lengths than humans can imagine.
