if you ask it programming questions currently it answers incorrectly very frequently with the code examples, or the logic, or both... but it looks correct to a novice ... i imagine it will get better over time... with enough prompting it can usually end up in about the right place ... and sometimes it can answer with cool ways that ive not seen something done that do work

In the end, it will force the world towards science and the objective truth. The benefits of having it work are extreme, but so is the garbage-in-garbage-out (GIGO) problem. It's going to be extremely disruptive, mostly because we will have to throw out our myths.
It shouldn't be there in the first place
